"Create your own Life Stones and Finger Labyrinth"

Maia Heissler is a gifted artist who has teachings to inspire us all. Born in Germany and raised in Canada,
Maia gladly shares her life's experiences. After attending Queens University and receiving a degree in
languages and education, Maia volunteered to teach in Africa for 3 years.

After returning home and starting a family, Maia decided she needed to bring in an income to help support
her growing family. With little money to spare, Maia's creativity started with decision of ,what would she
create. Her deep love for the woodlands and concern for the environment eventually lead her to the
creation of "Forest Friends"

Maia has since published many books, been interviewed for several magazines and is now teaching
to others what she has learned on her journey through life...

In this workshop Maia guides each student
through the process of creating their own set of
36 life stones, each bearing a symbol representing
a detail from nature, accompanied by simple life
lessons. Once created your new life stones can be
used for meditation and journaling.

Also includes; Learn to create your own
finger Labyrinth, a burlap bag to hold your life
stones and a impression in clay, your own leather
symbol necklace.

At the age of sixteen, Deborah Richardson started
sewing fashion clothes for Canadian designers in Vogue
and Chatelaine magazines. This opportunity peaked her
interest in the fashion world which later led to her new
passion for jewelry making.

Deborah is a self taught artist, who remembers spending
hours upon hours teaching herself to bead. Her passion
started with the love for both Native and African Art, which
later led to her own designs matching the fashion flair of
today's modern women. Over the years her jewelry has
been worn by such Artists as the country singing singing
group The Wilkinson's, Deana Carter and others. Her
pieces have also been requested for fashion shows,
music videos and award shows.

For over 12 years, Deborah and husband Terry traveled
across Ontario selling her wares and just recently decided
to stay home and set up shop in their log cabin located in
Madoc On. In her cabin studio, Deborah teaches over 20
different types of jewelry & bead making workshops,
which range from beginner to advanced and prices
range from $20 - $160 depending on the type of
workshop you take.

Book a private one on one class to fit your schedule or
join in a small group with others. Special requests are
welcomed. Youth classes are available. Please call the

It is the process of putting together many rolls of colored clay to build images that 
run through a loaf of clay. Did you ever roll snake shapes in clay as
 a kid, it's a lot like that.

" The best part of this class for me as an  instructor, is the amazement on each
students face as they make that first slice in their cane and view what's inside "

This class is really a lot of fun and it's great for a large group.

Exploring the Dream Realms
Dreams..Why do we dream?

It is so exciting when you begin to interpret and gain
insight from your dreams! The sense of adventure,
wonder and mystery it brings, adds a whole new
dimension to your life. If you love to unravel a mystery,
then you are going to love exploring the age old art of
decoding your dreams!

During this six week workshop we will explore the
phenomenon of dreaming and offer insight as to how
you can interpret your dreams. We will work hand in
hand with various stones and crystals and vibrational
essences to enhance your dreaming abilities and aid
us in deciphering their message, assist those who
believe they don't dream to begin remembering their
dreams, and perhaps help those who are interested to
deepen their experiences with the art of lucid dreaming
and astral travel.
